April General Meeting: Inside the Marine Exchange: Keeping Puget Sound Safe, Efficient and Whale-Wise

Mark your calendars for our next General Meeting on Thursday, April 16, as we celebrate Spring’s return.

·       Location: The Everett Yacht Club, 1720 W. Marine View Drive, Everett.

·       1800 General Meeting

o   Potluck Theme: Spring Picnic Potluck!

o   Let’s celebrate the arrival of Spring which means blooming of sails and fluttering of burgees as we move into warmer weather.

o   Bring your favorite Spring Potluck dish to share. If your last name starts with __ bring a __.

*  A-I Dessert

*  J-R Main Dish

*  S-Z Side Dish

o   Please bring your own beverages, and drinking vessels (plus a corkscrew for a corked bottle)

o   Our guest speaker, Patrick Gallagher, Executive Director of Marine Exchange will present: Inside the Marine Exchange:  Keeping Puget Sound Safe, Efficient and Whale-Wise

o   This would be a great meeting to bring invited guests that might be interested in joining our nautical fun!

Our annual Support Our Local Sailors (SOLS) fundraising is an important source of pride for our club.

·       We will have a “Split the Pot” Fundraiser
·       Bring a $5 bill for 1 ticket or get 5 tickets for $20.
·       At the end of the meeting, we will draw the winning ticket.
·       Half of the pot will go to SOLS, the other half of the pot will go to the winner!
